We are offering American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Courses at Camp Hebron through Lifesaving Certification Group. Certification is for pool coverage only and there will be no lake or waterfront training. Lodging and meals are available. See pricing, prerequisites, and other details below:
$50 deposit required to register
Prerequisites
Minimum Age of 15
Swim 300 yards continuously
Tread water for 2 minutes using only your legs
Complete a timed event within 1 minute & 40 seconds
Starting in the water, swim 20 yards
Surface dive to a depth of 7-10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object
Return to the surface and swim 20 yards on your back to return to the starting point
Exit the water without using a ladder or steps

Saturday, June 2nd
8am-8:30am: Breakfast (Sylvan View)
8:45am-11am: Pool & Rescue (Pool)
11am–12 pm: Session
12pm-1pm: Lunch (Sylvan View) & break
1pm-3pm: Class room - Finish CPR & AED
3pm-5pm: Classroom - Practical skills & First Aid
5pm-6pm: Dinner (Sylvan View) & Break
6pm-7pm: Pool & Rescues
7pm-10pm: Classroom
Sunday, June 3rd
8am-8:30 am: Breakfast (Sylvan View)
8:45am-12:30pm: Pool, spinal injury management, final water scenarios
12:30 pm-1pm: Lunch (Sylvan View)
1pm-4pm: Break (pool not available)
4pm-5pm: Final Testing (Pool)
5pm-6pm: Dinner (Sylvan View)
6pm-8pm: Final testing & graduation – as needed
