New and Improved Facilities

Just in Time for the Summer Rush

Significant property improvements occurred in the first half of 2014. Over the winter holidays the office was dramatically reconfigured for more efficient utilization. The staff lounge was moved to the basement into what was formerly the gift shop. Two new offices were built in the old staff lounge and two existing offices were refreshed with paint and new carpet. The front office was reconfigured to provide space for the gift shop, which can now remain open during all office hours.

The Stauffer Cottage was generously donated to camp at the end of 2013. Camp will retain the unit for use as a rental facility. The first phase of renovation was completed in May, and included new flooring, paint, window treatments and furnishings. Phase two will result in a remodeled bathroom and new windows in the front of the cottage. Don’t miss out on the chance to be one of the first to visit!

Campsites 31 - 36 are pristine, tucked below the pond and along the stream. Unfortunately, due to flooding and erosion, access has generally meant driving through mud. Not anymore. The lower drive was rebuilt just in time for Memorial Day weekend. And now the campsites can be reserved online. Come and enjoy!
